Pippi!

I was trying to draw an army guy this morning and accidently ended up with Pippi Longstocking. I think I could have made the colours of her dress more interesting. If anyone would wear an interesting dress, it'd be Pippi.

Hurrah! Thanks everyone! I'm really having fun with yesterday and today's way of colouring stuff. I think I may have finally found a way to colour the graphic novel. Something I've been mulling over for months now.

Thanks Kent about the profile pic too! I've meant to replace that for a while. When I set up the blog I used an old drawing so I'd have something there :)

I really loved this picture of Pippi Longstocking, or Pippi Långstrump, as we call her here in Sweden. Absolutely wonderful!

Hi,
I am doing a project for school and I was wondering if i'd be able to use your illustration of Pippi Longstocking on the cover. I'd give you credit of course. I just love this image of her.

Thanks,
Katelyn

I came from another site where your Pippi was posted. Your drawings are wonderful! We have Doodle Week, once a month. Maybe you would like to join in. Today the theme is candy cane. Did the actresses from Lost ever see your drawings of them? You really caught their characteristics. Kate, especially, is just how I think of her look too.

Wow, what a cool drawing of Pippi! She was my favourite character when I was a kid! :) Thank you for the lovely drawing of one of the best characters in children literature!

Hi Sarah,

I did not find the way to send a private message. I really like this picture and would like to use it on a website, for-non commercial use (a link to your blog will be added). Could you contact me if you agree?

Regards,

Guillaume
