Charles Colt presents...

So over the next couple weeks I'll be updating my portfolio... which means occasionally I'll be posting drawings/paintings that I will have spent more time on than my usual posts.

Anyway, here's the line drawing for an illustration I'm working on. The image is based on one of various stories I have in the perpetual works :) It was fun to do some circus poster research for this too.

It's a beautiful sketch. I'd love to see it in color when you get some time to add some.

WHOA!

This is amazing Sarah!
Absolutely super cool.
The design of the poster is very nice.

I could go on, but I think I have said enough.

Love it.

Hi!
You are full of talent! All your drawings are wonderful :) I especially love your pictures for your fairy tale.
This line is a success too. The girl has a very melancholy look...

And thanks a lot for your visit on my blog ;)

I'll be curious to see what the coloring on this one will be like.
i'm always surprised by how your line work looks and feels different then your finished pieces.
This one could a variety of ways the way I see it.
Which will you go?
I'm really curious!

wow this is really nice, really tight. nice composition too.
I love it! Anything circus related has to be entertaining ...

November 14th! It's my birthday! :) Which means you need to draw SOMETHING today. Just so I can look back years from now and go "Look! That's what Sarah Mensinga drew on the day I turned 17!" :)
