This is simply lovely, Sarah. The colors are so delicate, yet so vivid. Kent
I like the idea of Cupid as sort of a "Lost Boys" age, rather than the fat little baby type. Very cool!
wow. great. i love the soft palette on this one. it's a bit different for you.
Although he looks serious, he does look as if could get into some really funny mischief with those arrows. Cupid stuff, I mean. :-)Great stuff! You have a great clean effortless-looking style Sarah. I'm envious. ;-DCheersmarianne
my favorite of yours
The soft colors are fantastic. You know I love your watercolors!Jeremy
Wow, the pastel palette is just heavenly! (pardon the pun)
Your colors and line have a nice touch to them here. Really nice!
awww, this has to be the saddest cupid i have ever seen, which is good, now he knows how the other end of the arrow feels.<3 it
Twang! Well done Sarah, I too love the colors, etc.
you, are amazing. And are now on my favourites list.
Sarah, in the spirit of archery safety, I would suggest putting the arrows in the quiver with the points down. Saves a lot of fingers that way. :) This piece is really nice.

Waow ! I just discover your blog and illustrations. It's simply wonderful !Could you tell me which technic you use to color your drawings ?Thanks ! PS: i used one of your drawing on Harry Potter to illustrate a post on my blog (with your name and a link to your blog of course !)

Popped over for a look and ohmygosh! Great stuff. Too great. In fact, I may have to have you kidnapped. Just say the arrows are Nurf and you're good! Take care!
Love his design, and the delicate expression!
Do you sketch on paper then scan? Or do you draw right into Corel Painter.I have a Tablet PC, and I've yet to master drawing with a stylus. I really like your work. For something you call a sketch, it looks to me like a fine piece of art!
Thanks everyone again! :) Darren, I generally draw stuff on paper and scan it in. I'd love to try Alias Sketchbook pro though, I hear it makes drawing with the stylus far easier.
Thanks for the information. I like the sketches in blue you've just posted. It is nice to see some insight into the "before" sketch. It is inspiring to see, now to put it to work!
I love your character designs!
It´s so sweet , i like it Sarah!
