Robots and cuties!

Here's a page of sketches from writer's group last night. I forgot to bring a pencil sharpener, so I was trying to make my one sharp pencil last as long as possible. Some of these ideas are for drawergeeks this week.

Oh and I mentioned a while back that I was trying to figure out how to read my graphic novel to people at writer's group. I've read twice now from the roughs, holding it up while I kind of pitch it to the people there as if it were storyboards. Seems to work pretty well :)

These are great, Sarah... I love the one-wheeled bunny. Great sketches, even with a dull pencil.

I was just asking myself, I said, "Self, if you could have anything, what would it be?" To which I quickly responded, "Why I would have a one wheeled rolling bunny, that's what I would have for sure."

Hi Sarah,

I LOVE these robots! They're so beautifully designed!

That actually puts in mind a question I've been meaning to ask, and it has to do with my character, Roboy Red (Buzzboy's John Gallagher is my co-creator). Can I email you off-blog? If so, please email me from my website: www.richfaber.com (only because I don't know if spambots scan Blogger comments. Forgive my ignorance)

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Rich

I like 'em, especially the big middle robot, which looks like something out of Ratchet & Clank.

What do the other writers of the group make of you turning up with pictures instead of words?
