Unicorntastic!

When I was a younger I drew tons of princesses but had little interest in drawing unicorns. The time to remedy that was apparently tonight. Somehow a magical pegasus sneaked onto this page too.

Wowee, you caught them so well! I love the long manes. ...Sadly I drew tons upon tons of unicorns when I was little. I had seen "The Last Unicorn" when I was maybe 6 or so and it stuck for a few years. I abruptly ended it when I figured dragons seemed to
be "better." ...After seeing this, all I wanna do is run out and draw out some horned horses!

Very nice!
The unicorn always seems so noble.
Were there any bad unicorns?

And that Pegasus is fantastic.
I want one.

Always good to get a post from you Sarah.
Stay well!

i just saw the last unicorn the other night after an eternity of not seeing it. i've always seen them so slender, but i really like these, very stoic and proud. nice.

i think you should draw what would happen if a unicorn and a pegasus and a panda and a hippo and a great white shark all mated... not the act, but the offspring... okay... GO

i didn't see 'the last unicorn' until i was in college....me and my roomate liked it so much we found the stupidest unicorn pattern fabric and made curtains out of them for our room.

sweet drawings!

Unicorns are always a good theme to get inspiration.. you should paint them to show the magic colors..

Funny you should sketch a unicorn...one of my friends was looking for a specific anime that she'd seen on HBO in the 80's when she was home sick from school... She just got back from China and was telling me today that she finally found it on YouTube: Tezuka's "The Fantastic Adventures of Unico". I'd never heard of it...have you seen it? Your unicorns would fit the story well. :)

Wait a minute... blue AND indigo col-erase in the same unicorn sketch? Scandalous! You're a renegade, Sarah. Be careful, there are people out there who won't tolerate that kind of unconventional unicorn sketching. POWERFUL people. Just watch your back.

I think I've only drawn one unicorn ever. It ended up looking like a stunted dog with a carrot on its head.

Fun Unicorns. I ALWAYS drew unicorns. I even created a book of unicorns when I was little. Great job, love the weight.
