Chop!

This is a sketch of a character from a story I wrote a few years ago and am about to start editing. She not supposed to be Nordic, though, so I think I'll have to loose the helm.

Also, the next Wellington Division sequence will post Tuesday, rather than Monday. I have a busy weekend coming up. :)

what a beauty. Don't you delete de helm, i think it tells about the character. I think she seems to be nordic because de helm with that hair style, and also the axe. But not only the helm. I like the helm xD.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts! I have debated turning this into a graphic novel. It's currently a first draft of a short young adult novel. I think I'm going to keep it in it's novel form and spot illustrate it. It's more comedic in tone than the WD. :)

This is really good! So adorable.. I've always admired the sketches you've created.
A while back you checked out a drawing I had done, and I was wondering if you would stop on by and check out my blog? I just posted up a new pencil sketch, and if you scroll back there's two watercolor paintings in my older posts... Just saying, the feedback would be spectacular! Thanks! (:

Ha, thanks Craig! I think it would be a really fun graphic novel to draw, I'm just not sure I should tackle another one while my kids are still so little. :/
