It's a two-fer today, because today is also post day for drawergeeks . The other is Tony's requested Chesire Cat.... sort of based on our own fluffy Zoe. Except Zoe doesn't usually look that evil... thank goodness.

Yay! I just realized there is a post about my site and blog on the super cool Drawn! site. That means today gets an extra art posted in celebration :)

Yay seal! And hurrah for the cintiq driver update that got a few things working again.

I was inspired by the wonderful "Fresh Fruits" book today. I coloured this too, but it came out looking a little too rubbery-comic-computer-coloury.

Since I saw a certain new movie last night this seemed appropriate. Hopefully I'll have time to fancy it up for drawergeeks.

This is the third time I've tried to post this. I painted it, but the colours that looked pretty on my cintiq looked all washed out ugly on the laptop. Not quite sure how to fix that.

In honour of band weekend. And the new bass. I don't like this as much as I could, but I wanted to post something.

So the website is finally up ( www.sarahmensinga.com ) after..... two... three.... five kajillion years of saying I'd put one together :) As for this sketch blog, the idea is that I do a drawing when I wake up Mon-Fri and post it here. Most likely it will be some sort of character design, but maybe sometimes it will be a painting study or something.... I probably won't get 'daily' until next week, but to get something up, here's a morning drawing from last week.
