Dragon Girl (#14)

Thanks everyone for being patient with me, it's been one of those other-stuff-in-life-busy weeks where I'm neither checking other people's blogs as much as I'd like or posting on mine :) I really appreciate everyone who has been taking the time to stop by and apologize for not responding much.

Don't worry about it Sarah! :) I of all people completely understand when life gets in the way. Always can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve next! (Did I spell sleeve right?) -- Oddly, I was just watching another princess - Anastasia .. it's a very pretty animated movie, but so much of it might as well have been live action (save the animators the stress of animating so many humans!).

I like the composition on this. It does a great job of drawing your eye to the lonely princess, and isolating her from the rest.

I'm loving the feeling of this story. Ditto on comment above. Also, I love how small she is in the composition. It makes me think about how small and insignificant lonliness can make one feel, especially since she is with the humans in this picture instead of the dragons.

You always do such nice work Sarah, no need to appologize for being busy-- that's a good sign. Great work on the Italian Ren. couple. I'll have to look up that book you recommended-- I have lot's of referance books, but no costume books yet. Thanks for the lead.
I heart your stuff....Love yer style and characters. I absolutely had to put a link to you on my blog. (Hope you don't mind)...
