Princess Leia

For Drawergeeks today. I did this without much reference so I think it ended up less Carrie Fisher and more me dressed up for Halloween in tenth grade. I still remember being really ticked off after some kid said "Thanks Luke Skywalker" after I gave him some candy. Luke? I had buns! Buns!

Haha. Great expression and design for Princess Leia - the same goes for the plethora of very dynamic and animated characters you've got going on as I peek through your archives.

I absolutely enjoy your Frog Princess piece you posted up earlier. It is very beautiful.

I can't wait to see more of your future work :)

Can I say nice buns? I guess that would be cheeky.

You capture the petulant angry look perfectly. Inside she's steaming.

Definitely the best Leia in the Drawer Geeks bunch, and they were all good.

I like the younger look. Leia was supposed to be young and feisty. Here she looks like she's ready to beat up a bunch of deserving boys.

The youthful look does however make the subsequent relationship with Han seem a little creepy. We'll just pretend that a lot of time passed between Star Wars and Empire. :)
