Little Girl and Little Cat

It's probably a good day to hug a kitten.

Thanks to writing group last night, I had time to do a couple sketches while listening to other readers. And then thanks to insomnia later last night, I had some time to paint them. :) I'll post a drawergeeks painting tomorrow too. This one is for last week's Toon Club topic.

sooooooo cute. it looks like the weight of the kitty's booty is sagging him (or her!) down.

very cool. diggin the elongated cat, it adds to the weight.

Yeah, I like how stretched the cat is... that's how it usually looks, very uncomfortable for the cat :)

utterly awesome Sarah. Just love it. Woo hoo for long bodied, short limbed cats!

I see you've met my niece. First thing she says when she comes to my house is, "Where's the fluffy cat?" And all of my cats make for a spot to hide.

I love the expression on the cat's face.

Thanks guys! I have to admit a lot of the inspiration for the floppy cat came from the wonderful way Alana McCarthy and Michelle Gorski draw cats :)

Wow Sarah, I love it! The color is amazing and the character design is brilliant.

In summary: I love it. I'll take it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be out by the mail box waiting for its arrival. :)
