Dinner Party

I decided to paint a sketch I did a few weeks ago. Click on the image for a larger version. I had thought I might colour it, but I think I like it black and white. Or maybe I just like it black and white because I know I should probably work on some other projects today.

Apparently Fablewood will be out in comic stores very soon, if not now. Exciting!

I love the forms and shapes that make each character unique. Maybe the addition of a single color (like red) could be cool, though it looks amazing just the way it is.

This picture is great. The attitudes have all the makings of a murder mystery. The dinner conversations would be a mix of vacuous and insincere flattery, peppered with poorly disguised, yet searing metaphors.

I love this picture. The only thing better would be if I could put the faces of several people I know in it. (lol)

I agree. I think color would weaken the atmosphere. Actually, I think the black and white gives it the feel of a "period piece."
