The Wellington Division - The One... Maybe
New comic roughs up. Only six pages, a little scene. But its probably a good thing, because its been a crazy week.
So I guess some of my work has recently appeared on stumbleupon, and I've received a whole bunch of thoughtful emails. If you sent me one of those emails and I haven't replied to it yet, please know it's just been unusually busy here, and I really really appreciate the kind words. It makes my day to know people are reading my stories and enjoying them. Also, thank you to whoever stumbled on me in the first place. :)

(I will probably email you more about my adoration for The Wellington Division later, lol). Funny thing is, I first discovered you through your story Extraordinary on Stumble, and again there was something there in that story that hooked me in. The story was strangely nostalgic for me, and as it was a pretty good feeling reminiscent of childhood memories, I was compelled to see more of your works. The next one I read was The Very Special Hat, which caught me hook, line, and sinker. It was that refreshing quality of yours, which I find in all of your works (much to my delight). It's your defining quality for me, and I knew I had to read some of your larger works.
And since you already know how I feel about The Wellington Division, I'll conclude my commentary with a "Kudos to you" for your refreshing storylines, fantasmic art, and your brilliant, God-gifted mind :)
I have no plans to publish the Wellington Division right now, although I wish I could say I did! I would LOVE to finish it, it's just most of my time is spent watching my young kids and there are a lot of pages that need painting. To be honest, it's hard to know what to do with it as is, I'm not even sure it would read very clearly on a kindle or the like. Hmm...
Thank you again for the super nice comment. :)
Just found your site via Reddit. Are any of your picture books available for purchase? Looking around your website, I can't see a shopping option.
I wanted to let you know how much I love the world you created in The Wellington Division. I am absolutely engrossed! It takes something special to be able to send people far, far away in their imaginations. I admire your artistic and story telling abilities so much. You are truly gifted. Please, please keep going on your graphic novel! I actually panicked when I reached the end, or rather, latest page, but exhaled a huge sigh of relief after discovering you update a new page every week. Yaaay!
My friend sent me a link to "Extraordinary" after she stumbled on it. I'm so glad she showed me your work. I'm an aspiring artist, and you give me so much inspiration. I'm happy that I can look forward to something so good every week! <3
