Me and my Gang of Ruffians

(Click on image for bigger version.) So my husband Stephen was playing this game Titan Quest with some of his friends and he thought it might be fun to network our computers and play together when we felt like being lazy at home. At first I was disappointed picking the character, my choice was either an oddly thick legged roman woman or large roman man. You couldn't even change their hair colour. Boring!

But then it got better... as you run about fighting zombies and medusas and the like, you pick up shmancy armor (never mind that none of it actually matches... my poor girl looks like she got dressed with a blindfold on) and you get points you can put towards special powers. I put all my points into getting summons... creatures you can magically summon to follow you around and fight with you. So I have a wolf, giggly nymph girl and death king.

I imagine if real life came with magic summons it would be pretty neat. The wolf could keep the cats in line, the death king could take care of watering the plants, cooking, laundry and answer the phone, and me and the nymph could hang out drinking tea and go shopping. Awesome!

i love how the most important part of a role adventure game is how to accessorize... :D

I've never played the game, but I really enjoy this drawing anyway!

Thanks guys! Ha ha, maybe this explains why my favourite game is the sims2... it's all about making your character look neat. Sadly, you can't have a death king in the sims though.

And Michelle, now I am especially curious about WOW. Purple hair you say... hmm :)

oh noes! better stop now before you get uber-addicted. I was that way with City of Heroes. I had a mask and a sword in that game...

"Hello? This is the Death King, how may I direct your call?"

I think that's a short film in itself. :)

I'd like to join you and the giggly nymph for tea and shopping! And perhaps borrow your Death King every now and again to walk Simba for me...because he's awfully fiesty...he makes walking up and down the stairs quite treacherous! ;)

I can picture the Death King on a Saturday morning, making waffles and listening to Leonard Nimoy.
