i have to agree with you on the cuteness factor, nice job at drawing a deer, i dont think i've ever attempted to draw one, maybe it's a sign that i should, or is it? :)

There is something terrifying about the tiny-head deer. Maybe it's the overly-large eyes that drill into soul with both barrels. Maybe it's their strange high-pitched call, like babies crying. Or maybe it's the way they continually knock into things with their over-largeness.
The extra-cuteness eyes reminded me of the this line from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy "...elegant gazelle-like creatures with silken coats and dewy eyes which the Vogons would catch and sit on. They were no use as transport because their backs would snap instantly, but the Vogons sat on them anyway."
The deer being festively plump is a nice touch as well!
