Since I just finished reading a cool book last night about Dinah (Joseph's sister) called "The Red Tent", I thought I'd draw a picture of this girl. Maybe our new cat Winter snuck into the pic too.
Totaly cool. I love the background, it pops out. Great expressiveness in the figures too. I keep thinking she must have strong bones to hold up that hair.
I so love your work! It's very inspiring and just so much fun to look at! This one's cool, and I love that Winter has meowed her way into this one! I'm going to be adding you to my 'blogs that rock' section, cuz You Rock!

i am a huge fan of your work, i'm loving everything you do. i'm not really a cat person but i love the way you made her hair like it was in the wind.
Anyways i like to say thaks for the great inspiration.
This is such a coincidence, Sarah. I'm the admin for The Red Tent Fan Page on FB, exclusively devoted to the book AND I've always loved your work! I'm sharing this on the page, I hope you don't mind! It's so nice to see artists interpreting Dinah the way she would've been!

Colin, I coloured my scanned lines a little in photoshop and then did all the brush/painty stuff in Painter :)
