The Dindle (Part 2)

Gaah, I wish I could paint faster. I keep running over my hour of daily blog art time. I think I'm gonna finish up this story with nice sketches, rather than rushed paintings like this one.

Not sure how I like this font, the 'y' is spaced strangely on 'tiny and fluffy'. Hmm.

I like the "rushed" look. Construction lines are always interesting to see....look at Hero Bear (I mean you've seen it but just look at the...eh...you get it).

can't you move the "y" over yourself with the paragraph toolbox?

I love this, Sarah. I would even buy a book of this.

Hey thanks so much Tom :) That makes me feel better.

Tony have me a good suggestion on how to fix the 'kearning' of the letters too, so hurrah! I do like the overall look of that font. Very dindle-y.

Keep the painterliness if possible. I love you blue-line sketches, but I think the "rushed" painting adds to the "fluffy" and playful nature.
They are so cute! :D -- The font is a little hard to read -- but I like the way you write, it reminds me of this paper I recently found that I wrote in 6th grade about if I ruled the world. :) Last line was something like "If I ruled the world - everyone would be happy and not known how to be sad." Anyways! Aw. I want a Dindle. :)

Wanted to show you -- just read a short interview posted with Keith Alcorn about Ant Bully: http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/roger_colton/archive/2006/07/26/4527.aspx

I know it's hard to put up stuff you don't feel is complete or exactly what you want, but I agree with Tom and bgoz, the rushed look is nice and loose and has a great feel to it. Great stuff! Bring on more of the Dindles!

Sarah would like everyone to know that her internet is down and she'll be updated the blog again as soon as possible. Thanks!

I agree Jessie, the font is a little difficult to read, I'll probably pick something different next time. Thanks bgoz and Stephen too, it drives me nuts when I feel like something of my own is unfinished, but I really like seeing other artist's do sketchy rough art.

Argh! I *wish* I could spend a week on something and get your "rushed" look. As with all folk in the creative fields, I think perhaps you're your own worst critic!

Fluffy bunnies. Mmmmm. Don't change a thing---however fast you are making these delicious bunnies is WORKING!

There are supposed to be stories on my site too, but I write them and let them sit there. Aaron is illustrating one right now---see, maybe I just need to farm everything out. Heh.
